The team were commissioned by Kingdom Holding Co. to create a concept masterplan for a significant new mixed use community in a key growth area in the north-eastern part of Riyadh. The scheme aims to take advantage of a projected new road connecting this part of the city to the airport. Our urban design group worked in joint venture with Omrania & Associates, Cluttons, Booz Allen and Hyder.

The brief called for the team to work in close collaboration with a view to consultation with the municipality and development authority.

The proposed scheme contains 14,500 dwellings, aimed largely at the Saudi market, a community club and retreat, ancillary retail, schools and mosques and a significant new destination retail mall.
