The Farmlands Initiative presents a unique opportunity to develop a new and significant Agricultural community in a strategically important location .

The scheme will serve as a source of much needed agricultural produce, a centre for innovation in farming techniques, a green development framework for ‘Isteraha’ second homes and a generator of employment in the fields of farming, agricultural sciences, hospitality and leisure.

The Concept for The Farmlands is presented as a Green Grid a regular and highly efficient subdivision of the land which is defined by generous screening belts of native trees, connected by a Green Spine that accompanies primary infrastructure through the core of the project. A sequence of development nodes includes a new Distribution Hub, an initial phase built around an Equine Community, where the Arabian horse is celebrated, a Golf node, Rural community and a sequence of smaller destinations with an emphasis on popular Leisure pursuits.
